I am Chandana Mukherjee, a Neuro-Linguistic Programming coach. I am committed to empowering teachers to be the best version of themselves both in the classroom and in their personal lives. I help teachers transform their impact in the classroom using an exciting set of NLP tools that enables them to create excellence and optimize their pleasure in teaching.
Apart from this, I love working with teachers who are truly interested in personal growth. I collaborate with them to understand their specific needs and create personalized coaching plans that will address their unique goals and challenges. With my help, you will be able to take your teaching to the next level and make yourself happier, more competent, and fulfilled.

Having been a teacher myself, I understand the unique challenges and struggles that come with this profession. When I began my career, I was just equipped with subject knowledge and a degree that qualified me as a professional. And a few months into my career, I started realizing I had far fewer skills than what is required to hold the attention of my learners and deliver the value I desired. What I would struggle with often is- getting my students to just listen to me, holding the attention of the students & of course maintaining order in my class.

I still remember those days when, as a fresher teacher, I would walk into a class feeling nervous and shaky. Teaching a class of students who were uninterested, lost, and unwilling to cooperate with me was not an easy task. I tried engaging my students by using authority, demanding their attention also by incorporating interesting activities but none of these worked well. This left me with a feeling of low self-worth. Being passionate about teaching, I truly wanted to create interest in my students and engage them in productive learning. But I had no clue how to do it nor did I have any support from my peers or seniors.

Looking back, I realize though I was planning my lessons well, what I was not able to do was create the necessary environment for effective teaching-learning sessions. However, over time, like most professionals, I learned to manage and work around my limitations and grew into a good teacher. This is when I did my first NLP training. And this was a life-changing experience for me. It is here that I learned the skills of communicating effectively. As I began to apply the new learnings to my teaching, I noticed a profound change in my teaching sessions. I was easily able to captivate the attention of my learners and lead them into resourceful states and the students became more engaged and motivated toward learning.

Throughout my career, I have seen many fellow teachers, freshers and longtime alike, who would struggle to have productive teaching sessions. When you have to deal with issues like noisy classes, disruptions during teaching & disinterested learners for a long period of time, it is quite natural that you feel disrespected and less valued. And this can lead you to use excessive authority leaving no room for rapport and straining your relationship with students. This not only limits your professional growth but also impacts your personal life as you tend to bring those feelings to your home and start looking at the world with the same understanding.
In a world where IT and technology are honored, it is a marvel that people are choosing to become teachers. We need to acknowledge this fact and help them with the right kind of professional training. Teachers are given training on lesson plans, pedagogic theories, and preparation of material aids but what is often overlooked is the most important tool of the teachers’ trade- communication skills. With little or no professional training available to address this aspect, teachers start to lose motivation at work and easily fall prey to irritability and stress.
This had me thinking that I must do something to make our teachers’ lives easier, better, and more fulfilling. Driven by this intention and equipped with my experience of applying NLP in teaching, I went on a learning journey to acquire and hone the skills of empowering teachers to reach their full potential. And now, here I am to give you the cutting-edge secrets of becoming a star teacher and growing in your personal and professional life.

What Clients Are Saying

TeacherEd with Chandana
“It has been my privilege to have Chandana ma’am as my senior colleague and grade coordinator during early stage of my career in Bangalore. I clearly remember one of Chandana ma’am’s classes that I observed as a new staff member. It was quite interesting and engaging with one thing that impressed me the most being that the whole class got completely involved during that 40 mins period. She is someone who students, parents, colleagues, and administrators count on for her experience and advice. Wishing ma’am all the best and may you keep inspiring everyone around!”

Chandana and I go back 10 years when we were teacher-colleagues in a reputed private school in Bangalore. She had a calm demeanour with a wonderful sense of humour. In the profession that we were in, it was very important to have that kind of subtle sense of humour considering the fact that we catered to a varied set of students. Her classes were quite interesting with innovative teaching methodologies and students used to shower love and respect on her.”
